That’s what Carolyn Hendrix, a long-time adult education teacher at Wallace state Community College, had to say about her time working with the men at Royal Pines. Mrs. Hendrix, along with Dr. Kelley Jones of Wallace State and Mark Silvers of Royal Pines, formed a partnership to allow Royal Pines’ clients to come to Wallace State for GED classes.
For three and a half hours a day, for four days a week, Mrs. Hendrix worked with the Royal Pines clients to help them get their GED.
“I appreciate the opportunity to work with the guys and the Royal Pines staff. They have changed my life in a special way,” Mrs. Hendrix shared. “I couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments of the GED and the change I have seen in the short time in my class. I pray for the continued success of the Royal Pines clients’, and their future endeavors.”
