It’s back!  Project Placemat that is!

Project Placemat is a fun and creative way to help the men, women, and children that we serve and let them know the community is thinking of them.

2013 placemat

Decorated placemat from 2013’s ‘Placemat Project’

These placemats are distributed among our three campuses – Shepura Center, Jessie’s Place for women and children and Royal Pines — during the Thanksgiving holiday.  The placemats bring a smile to our clients’ face during a time where many are unable to spend the holidays with loved ones.

Project placemat is now a tradition and has been a part of the Jimmie Hale Mission for several years!  We receive submissions from schools, churches, home school groups and just caring individuals.  It’s simple, fun, and a great way to make a difference and give back during the holidays.

If you’d like to take part in this year’s Placemat Project, click here to get your dowloadable PDF.  Once complete, just mail in your decorated placemats to: Jimmie Hale Mission, Attn: Holiday Placemats, PO Box 10472, Birmingham, AL 35202.
