On January 14th, Perryn will spend the night in downtown Birmingham, existing as our homeless neighbors do every night. Trading comfort for cold, and security for uncertainty, the night will provide a small window into the fear and exhaustion that many of our clients have lived with every day before they found hope and opportunities for a different life at Jimmie Hale Mission.
At the beginning of the night, Perryn will not have what is needed to survive the frigid air: no tent, no blanket, no shelter. Instead, she will rely on the generosity of our Mission friends to provide the things she will need to get by. When supporters donate to Jimmie Hale Mission, Perryn will be given the tools necessary to endure the night and donations will open the door for new lives to begin at Jimmie Hale. Please donate generously so we may provide warmth, meals, and resources that lead to new beginnings for so many.
This event will be live streamed so you can get a glimpse of this night on the streets. When we experience, we care more deeply. And when we care, lives change.
Transformation begins with you.
One night of operation is $2,500, and with your partnership, it becomes possible.
