What are “In-Kind” Donations?
In-Kind donations are non-monetary gifts that you can give to support The Jimmie Hale Mission. These includes items like:
- Household items
- School items for Discovery Clubs
The full list of items you can donate is much longer, but you get the idea! When you donate your gently-used items to us, you also get a tax-deductible receipt.
How Do I Donate My In-Kind Items?
You are welcome to drop off your donations of clothing, toiletries and other such items at any of our shelters including Shepura Men’s Center, Jessie’s Place for women and children, and Royal Pines Center.
You can also drop off your donations at any of our Mission Possible Bargain Centers; your donation will still fully benefit those we serve. Click here for a list of our locations.
Or, you can schedule a pick-up of your donation online!

Is It True My Donations Can Benefit My Church?
Yes! Through our Corners of Your Field program, your in-kind donations to the Mission not only give you to a tax-deductible receipt, but benefits your church as well. It’s a win-win situation!

What If I Want to Conduct a Donation Drive?
Donation drives are a great way to get your church, school, office or other group involved and donate much-needed items to the Mission. You’re welcome to conduct any type of drive you’d like, but below are our recommendations of highly needed items. Click the link for a downloadable PDF:
You could also conduct a Paper Product drive, a Laundry Detergent drive, or other. For questions about conducting a drive, please contact Terry Preston email@example.com at (205) 323-5878.
