With funds down 9% as compared to this time last year, the Jimmie Hale Mission and Jessie’s Place needs your support to continue to make a difference in the lives of those that we serve.
“We are not a United Way agency, nor do we receive government funding,” states Executive Director Tony Cooper. “While there’s nothing wrong with that, it just means that we rely solely on the generous support of individuals, churches and businesses to help us continue to meet the need we see.”
This time of year is so crucial for nonprofits since as much as 60% to 70% of funds can come during the holiday season, even though the Mission serves the homeless and hungry year round. Without the generous financial support from the community, it would be hard to keep many charities such as the Jimmie Hale Mission running.
The Mission has made it easy for supporters to donate online by visiting www.jimmiehalemission.com or calling us at 205-323-5878 to give by phone.
