Jimmie Hale Mission’s Continuum of Care Program is designed to provide graduates of our initial 16-week program with the additional services and support needed to solidify their foundation for success.

Clients are encouraged to stay in our Continuum of Care in which they remain living at the Mission and receive additional supportive services while they begin working and/or going to school.

Services include continued personal counseling, financial education and budgeting, Bible studies and worship activities. These services and this time allow clients to develop strong work habits in stable employment, build savings for housing and utility deposits, obtain basic transportation and put away a small cushion to withstand life’s unexpected events, all while continuing to solidify their personal and spiritual development.

When clients attain their goals in this second phase of our programming, our full-time housing coordinator assists them in obtaining suitable affordable housing off campus, including housing in off-campus communities sponsored by Jimmie Hale Mission.

Stuart used his time in Continuum of Care to finish his associate degree from Wallace State Community College before enrolling in the University of Alabama to study mechanical engineering.

Richard enrolled in CDL school to pursue his dream of becoming an over the road truck driver.
